whatever the case, here some information i'm willing to share with you...
>First question, What do you want?
Do you have something in mind? Is there a Website you saw and something caught your attention? Maybe you saw a website, and thought "I wish my website looked like that" , "I wish my website had that" or "I wish that was my website" or something similar...
It all depends on what you want & what all you want your website to do.
>Maybe you just want to test out the website world for a while
or can't afford to get a website yet (yet there are many great deals out there)
keep in mind, yet it's free..there may be several downfalls to these free hosting sites versus Paying such as:
* Advertisements Gallore of who knows what
* Pop ups
* Not as much memory for everything you would like on your website
* Your link/website will look something like this in the link address:
www.ThereWebsiteName.YourWebsiteName.com
or www.ThereWebsiteName.com/YourwebsiteName
which can get a little long or look a little unprofessional to some :(
>There still is possbilty to make a free site look good and some professionalism, but just keep those in mind.
So your considering a paid website

Well We Are Just GeTTing Started....
*Domain is your website name/address, example: www.MYWEBSITENAME.com buying it allows you to keep & use the name/address of your website. Thats basically what a domain name is, a name for your website. Prices & Payments vary company to company on domains & hosting. Some are monthly, yearly, or weekly payments.
* Hosting is basically like memory on a computer, but instead for your website, your paying for memory and room. It hosts your website. It allows you to put all that cool stuff on there and make it all work together right. Everything that you see (and /or hear) on your website is saved and stored in the hosting so that your allowed to see (and hear) what you are seeing (and hearing) on your website.
>Then when you have all of that, thats where I come in. ^_^ for the designing.
>There a few hosting & domain websites I can recommend & have used in the past, but it's not required that you use them.
Whatever company you choose your hosting or domain is fine with me. I'm just the designer. You have those out of the way, then I go to work. ; )
Recommendations:
www.Bravenet.com - love them, still use them, they have both hosting and domain but pay attention to what package you get.
Yahoo Web Hosting- Yahoo web hosting they have some good deals from time to time.
Supplies:
>What I need from you, to make your Extradonary website:
1) If you haven't already, get your domain and hosting (if you need help just email me)
2) pick a name for your website (www.YourWebsiteName.com) & pick it (thats part of paying for the domain, you must choose a name).
3) I need your FTP host number & the password given or for you to make me my own FTP account & password (this is so I can access and work on your website from my location) I mainly use Dreamweaver.
4) Your website address (www.YourWebsiteName.com) if you have one made already.
5) And all thats left is what you want for your website, the look & what you want it to do.
